2025 has to be your year! Revamp your circle

Take a pen and paper or notepad and write down 5 to 10 people you spend the most time with (at work, online, etc.), and on a scale of one to 10, rate the person’s energy and how you feel after you hang out with them. Let 10 be great energy and impact and 1 for energy draining.
Next, begin to politely detach yourself from the people who fall short and instead surround yourself with people who uplift, inspire, and challenge you to grow. Your friends and circle should be like an iron sharpening another iron (assuming you’re also an iron in this equation). Surely, you cannot do life alone, so do it with the right people.
Work smarter, not harder.

After you’ve audited your circle, you must audit repetitive processes in your daily routine. Find the processes in your daily life that take up time and energy and simplify them.
Create a default system around which you function; this way, you spend less mental energy trying to figure out what to do. For example, you can create a system where you cook once every two days with a mix of intermittent fasting to free up time (we all know cooking isn’t a walk in the park). Furthermore, you can:
- Schedule all your bill payments so you don’t struggle to remember their due dates.
- Set up auto-transfers for your savings so your future self can actually thank you.
- Use minimal productivity tools or settings (e.g., Focus mode available on most Android devices) that help you focus on what matters.
